Mrs. Miller was part of a team of teachers who applied for a grant through National Gardening Association to establish the Evergreen Agricultural Testing Site (E.A.T.S.) in the early 90's. This grant provided gardening supplies and equipment. In addition, this same team worked with community volunteers, organizations, and businesses to secure donations of materials and time to build six garden beds, with soil, and covers. Prior to this project, Mrs. Miller utilized her home garden to field trip students to in order to participate in Kids' Gardening for many learning outcomes.
